THE STORY
Circumstances
The colleague Michéle Kiesewetter was shot dead on April 25, 2007. Together with her colleague, she was standing in her service vehicle in Heilbronn on the Theresienwiese. The perpetrator approached the service vehicle and shot the colleagues. Michéle was fatally shot in the head. Her colleague was also shot in the head but survived seriously injured. Years of investigation revealed a connection to the members of the NSU, an extreme right-wing organization.
