THE STORY
Circumstances
On September 27, 2005, Staňa was part of a three-member traffic patrol that was supposed to monitor nighttime traffic while checking drivers and their vehicles. At half past one in the morning, he decided to stop a speeding Škoda Felicia. The driver steered his car to the right side of the road, but did not stop at all. When the driver fled, he knocked down the colleague.
