THE STORY
Circumstances
On March 5, 2003, Garda Colleran was on duty and driving his private car back from Navan District Court to his workplace in Loughrea. While doing so, there was a traffic accident. Garda Colleran suffered severe head injuries from which he died on March 7, 2003.
