THE STORY
Circumstances
On 24.10.1942 colleague Mordaunt went to Dublin to arrest a group of wanted men. Immediately before the arrival of the police officers, the men fled from the house. While searching for them, Colleague Mordaunt became separated from his colleagues. A short time later, his body was found in the garden of a house. He had been shot dead.
