THE STORY
Circumstances
On Nov. 14, 1926, attacks were made on police stations nationwide. Colleague Ward was on duty at the Hollyford Station. He opened the front door of the station in response to a knock. A suspect raised his gun and shot colleague Ward, who died of his injuries on 11/16/1926.
