THE STORY
Circumstances
Macelová worked for the traffic police in Prague. On December 27, 2003, she and colleagues were called to a traffic accident. Monika Macelová got too close to a streetcar track running in the middle of a bridge. Monika Macelová died from severe injuries inflicted by a passing streetcar.
