Ivo Marek (29)

The two police officers were shot dead while conducting police operations in connection with a rape complaint. After the arrival of a five-man police squad, František Jůza first shot from his legally held gun at his ex-wife, who managed to escape, then at the police officers and finally turned the gun on himself. Daniel Stýblo (31) from Písek died on the spot, Ivo Marek (29) six hours later in hospital. A third intervening police officer was also hit by the shots, but survived the attack.
