THE STORY
Circumstances
Colleagues Buonantuono (ODMP.eu) and Tumminiello, along with a third police officer, were part of a team of the D.I.G.O.S. When they tried to stop a car, the occupants opened fire on the officers, killing Buonantuono and Tumminiello and seriously injuring the third police officer. Two of the killers were arrested in Milan in 1983.
