THE STORY
Circumstances
He was murdered on the afternoon of January 9 on the Lungomare delle Meduse in Torvajanica (Rome). At about 3:45 p.m. that day, Agent Conte, who was off duty and unarmed, had left the house to make a call from a telephone booth. Two men suddenly pulled him out of the phone booth and shot him.
