THE STORY
Circumstances
On June 9, 1991, he served his last patrol as the driver of a company car from which he was to monitor. However, he was not allowed to complete the service and a car accident occurred under unspecified circumstances. Major Václav Jirava died as a result of injuries caused by a company car accident, becoming the thirteenth fallen police officer since 1990.
