Tomáš Mann

Tomáš Mann served with the Administration of the South Moravian Region and his conflict with a foreign national became fatal. After a demanding night service at the Brno Emergency Motorized Unit, a group of attendees returned to the premises of the Secondary Police School of the Ministry of the Interior in Brno. The way back to school went smoothly to the intersection of Křížová, Vídeňská and Poříčí streets. Here, a car with police officers was not preferred by a foreign national in a Mercedes vehicle and caused a collision. On April 3, 1991, Lieutenant Tomáš Mann became the only victim of a traffic accident, taking the ninth place on the sad list of fallen police officers since 1990.
