Antonín Šoustal

It was the service in the district that was fatal for him. On September 11, 1990, he was called to intervene in one of the Prostějov buildings, into which an unknown perpetrator broke. During the action, an armed offender started firing at police officers. Although one of the shots hit Antonín Šoustal in the head, he managed to be transported to the hospital alive. Lieutenant Antonín Šoustal gave up his fight for life on November 14, 1990, when he succumbed to the consequences of a gunshot wound and thus became the fourth fallen police officer in 1990.
