THE STORY
Circumstances
Ante Grabić died on duty on June 28, 2013, when he suffered a fatal stab wound during a police operation following a report of domestic violence in a family home in Kijevo. A 61-year-old man stabbed him with a knife. Although surgeons at the Knin hospital fought for his life, Ante Grabić succumbed to his wounds.
