Colleague Jutta Greb was killed in a break-in at a post office on August 15, 1996. She and other colleagues arrived at the scene as several perpetrators stormed out of the post office. The perpetrators shot at the female colleague who had been deployed. The colleague probably wanted to help another colleague who had gotten into an altercation with a perpetrator. She shot at the perpetrator, but also hit her colleague, who was injured as a result. When she withdrew her service weapon, another shot was probably fired, which was fatal to herself.
