THE STORY
Circumstances
The GSG-9 operation in Bad Kleinen was a police operation on June 27, 1993, to arrest RAF terrorists Birgit Hogefeld and Wolfgang Grams in Bad Kleinen, Mecklenburg. The colleague Michael Newrzella was shot dead during this operation.
