THE STORY
Circumstances
The colleague Gisbert Beck died on June 3, 1983. He was teaching traffic instruction that day in the courtyard of a school in Eppstein when suddenly a gunman entered the school and shot several people. The colleague went into the school unarmed, met the gunman and shouted at him, "Drop your weapon! Police!" The perpetrator then shot him.
