Walter Pauli (22)

On 09.05.1975 the colleague Walter Pauli was shot during the service. He had only been out of training for three months at the time. The fatal attack occurred in a parking lot in Humboldt-Gremberg (Cologne). The shooter belonged to the left-wing terrorist group "Bewegung 2. Juni". Residents reported suspicious persons at the time. When the police arrived with three official cars, one of the perpetrators opened fire on the colleague Walter Pauli, fatally wounding him. Later, the perpetrator was also shot by the police as he fled.
