THE STORY
Circumstances
The colleague Helmut Adam died on December 25, 1971. In an uninhabited weekend house in Saalfeld, a deserted soldier of the Sonneberg Pioneer Company was tracked down at around 10:00 a.m. on December 25, 1971. During the attempt to arrest him, the colleague Helmut Adam was shot. He succumbed to his injuries the same day in Saalfeld hospital.
