THE STORY
Circumstances
The colleague Waldemar Estel died on 03.09.1956. He was shot by a person who was on duty that day. After he had arrested this person for a border violation, this person involved the colleague in a scuffle. He then pulled out a gun and shot the colleague. The perpetrator was never caught.
