THE STORY
Circumstances
The colleague Karl Reichert died on 27.03.1952 while opening a parcel bomb. Two boys received a package from a very nervous man, which they were supposed to take to the post office. However, the man walked behind them, which the two boys found strange. They therefore handed the package at a police station. The package was addressed to "Konrad Adenauer." The return address appeared to be forged.
