The colleague Fritz Maque died on 31.10.1948. On 30.0.1948, the colleague and his colleagues wanted to stop and control a truck at the inner-city border to West Berlin. However, the truck drove around the stopping post because it wanted to evade the inspection. In the process, however, he hit his colleague and dragged him along. The colleague was run over and died of his injuries a day later.
