The colleague was called off duty by his wife to the bar where she worked. Here guests harassed the staff and other guests. The colleague went into the bar, explained that he was a police officer and asked the people to calm down and leave the bar. One of the men then pulled a knife and stabbed the colleague. The colleague later died in the hospital.
