THE STORY
Circumstances
He died in Rome on January 14, 2011, as a result of liver disease contracted years earlier during the arrest of a criminal in Naples. On October 26, 1984, Inspector Giuseppe De Sena was injured during a violent scuffle with a drug-addicted robber. As a result of these events, Inspector De Sena fell ill with liver disease.
