THE STORY
Circumstances
Franz Noch was a German police director and politician (SPD). He died on December 2, 1961. From 1914 to 1918 he was a soldier in the First World War. He then entered the police service (middle service). In November 1947 he became police chief in Bremen and remained so until 1951.
