THE STORY
Circumstances
On November 29, 2005, he and his colleague heard that a car was being followed whose driver had robbed a bank in Peania. They blocked the road with the patrol car. The armed driver of the pursued vehicle, in his attempt to escape, crashed full force into the patrol, fatally injuring the 35-year-old border guard.
