Clas August Björkman (53)

Clas August Björkman was shot while on duty in Flen on 21.7.1922. A man with mental problems owned several guns and had threatened a neighbor with a revolver in his house in Flen on 21.7.1922. The police were alerted and August Björkman and Marklund came to the scene. From a window the man shouted to the policemen to leave, otherwise he threatened to shoot. When the police officers did not respond, the man fired one shot. This hit August Björkman in the chest.
