THE STORY
Circumstances
On February 12, 1964, due to the unrest was to occupy the castle of Limassol. In order to suppress the Turkish uprising, the castle was guarded by the police. A firefight ensued in which Filippos Konstantinidis was fatally wounded by a shot to the head.
