THE STORY
Circumstances
He was working as a trainee in the infirmary of the armed police barracks. He had been stationed in Vitoria for six months when he was murdered by ETA. His body was found with three shots to the head at close range in his vehicle on the border between Vitoria and Burgos, in the town of La Puebla de Arganzón.
