THE STORY
Circumstances
As he was leaving the police station with a colleague, his vehicle was fired upon by a machine gun while stopped at a traffic light. He managed to get out of the vehicle and repel the ETA attack, but was hit on the ground by twenty bullets. Days later he died in a hospital.
