THE STORY
Circumstances
He was riding in a National Police vehicle and was on his way back from the prison in Martutene. Upon arrival in Oyarzun, they were ambushed by ETA terrorists who fired from both sides of the road with rifles and automatic weapons. He died in the hospital. Four other colleagues were injured.
