THE STORY
Circumstances
Members of ETA planted a car bomb near the Belchite National Police barracks in Plaza de España. The explosive device was fitted with a timed detonator. As a result of the explosion, Ángel, who was guarding the facility, died on the spot. Four police officers and ten civilians were injured.
