THE STORY
Circumstances
He was performing a surveillance service at the entrance to the police station, which he extended for a few moments at the end of his shift at the request of a colleague. At that moment, a member of the terrorist group ETA shot at him from a distance of about two hundred meters with a rifle with a telescopic sight. He died shortly thereafter during surgery at the hospital.
