THE STORY
Circumstances
ETA terrorists had placed a bomb in the trunk of a cab. The bomb defusers, two members of the CNP and one member of the Ertzaintza, began defusing it. After hours of work, they managed to neutralize several activation traps, but a hidden trigger mechanism detonated the bomb, killing the three policemen instantly.
