THE STORY
Circumstances
In the spring of 1950 he decided to emigrate. April 14, 1950, wearing the uniform of a BVG member, he crossed the state border into Germany in a service vehicle with a pistol and a submachine gun. After training for the intelligence service, he was sent to Czechoslovakia in July. While attempting to cross the state border, he was arrested. The State Court in Prague sentenced him to death in February 1951, and he was executed in Prague near Pankrác on June 8, 1951.
