THE STORY
Circumstances
On May 10, 1945, he was shot by a drunken Soviet partisan for reasons that are not exactly clear (probably a mistake or an accusation of revenge). The incident was not investigated, as the perpetrator was shot by an unknown perpetrator on May 21, 1945, during a salute of honor at the celebration of the end of the war in Holice in Eastern Bohemia.
