THE STORY
Circumstances
He was arrested for collaborating with the partisans at his workplace in the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands. He was imprisoned in the Small Fortress of Theresienstadt, where he died of a typhus epidemic on May 8, 1945. The date of death is also given as May 22, 1945.
