THE STORY
Circumstances
On May 5, 1945, he was captured at a post office in Prague and taken to the nearby Pechk Palace, where the Prague Gestapo was headquartered. He was brutally murdered there by members of the SS. His body was secretly buried and found only on May 25, 1946.
