THE STORY
Circumstances
On January 26, 1944, he was arrested by the Gestapo in Olomouc. Although he was acquitted by a special court on November 6, 1944, he continued to be imprisoned in Brno. He was then sent to the Flossenburg concentration camp and then to the Saale on the Danube labor camp, from where he was to be transferred to the Dachau concentration camp. Due to his weakness, he refused and was shot by an SS member on April 21, 1945, together with several other prisoners.
