THE STORY
Circumstances
In the fall of 1944 he joined an illegal military organization around the paratroopers CLAY, in which he became the intelligence chief for the Vsetín district. The Gestapo was looking for him and he was arrested on March 28, 1945 and subsequently imprisoned in Brno. In early April 1945, he was taken with a transport of about 250 people to the Mauthausen concentration camp, where he was murdered in the gas chamber on April 6, 1945.
