THE STORY
Circumstances
During the occupation he participated in hiding weapons and equipment of the units of the State Defense Guard. On January 26, 1944, he was arrested by the Olomouc Gestapo and imprisoned in Brno. Then, on January 24, 1945, he was transported to the Flossenbürg concentration camp. When he fell ill there on March 10, 1945 and reported sick, he was physically abused by the guards - members of the SS - and died shortly afterwards, on March 23, 1945, of pneumonia and pleurisy.
