THE STORY
Circumstances
He actively participated in the Slovak National Uprising, helping citizens to avoid falling into the hands of the Gestapo. He was arrested three times and imprisoned by the Gestapo, the last time on December 14, 1944. On December 19, 1944, he was taken to the village of Pila, where he was executed by firing squad.
