THE STORY
Circumstances
On September 17, 1944, he arrived in Slovakia with his 26-member commando at the yard of the district administration in Štubniansky Teplice. During the Slovak National Uprising he was wounded twice and always recovered. He was last seen at the end of November 1944 in the village of Hiadeľ, from where he made his way to Podkoní. Since then his grave has neither been seen nor found.
