Circumstances
He served as a field gendarme with the 2nd Czechoslovak independent paratrooper brigade. He was shot on 26.10.1944 by an escaping prisoner in Banská Bystrica while he was on guard duty in the building of the headquarters of the First Czechoslovak Army. army in Slovakia.
