THE STORY
Circumstances
Monday 28 December 2020, Wim Arts (police volunteer base team Peelland) passed away at the age of 70.
Wim worked for 45 years with the volunteer police of the Peelland base team. He passed away as a result of the coronavirus.
Whether it was football duty, traffic control, surveillance or his participation in the Airborne March....Wim was always there and always had a smile on his face. You could rely on him day and night and he was not afraid of the devil. Wim was a social, dedicated person and we lose a golden police colleague in him. Wim would have retired on 1 January 2021.
