THE STORY
Circumstances
For more than 40 years, Michael Knape, Director at the Police Headquarters, was with the Berlin Police. Since 1970, he worked steadily on his career with the Berlin Police. He started as a middle-ranking constable and ended with his retirement as Director at the Police Headquarters.
For almost 30 years, he also taught as a lecturer at the technical college and imparted his enormous knowledge to young colleagues.
