THE STORY
Circumstances
Colleague Thomas H. was accompanying a state guest from Hungary on his service motorcycle. A car driver overlooked the barrier measures and drove into his colleague's service motorcycle. The service motorcycle was thrown against another motorcycle and the colleague suffered fatal injuries. The 27-year-old colleague on the other service motorcycle was seriously injured.
Tragically, the colleague would have already retired, but extended his working hours due to the ongoing European Football Championship to support his colleagues.
