THE STORY
Circumstances
Police officer of the Police Directorate in České Budějovice in Bohemia, born on 5 March 1912. During the occupation he was involved in resistance activities, among other things he obtained a false passport. He was arrested on 22 August 1942 and was then delivered to the Auschwitz Birkenau concentration camp where he died on 13 May 1943. Due to his previous work at the Police Directorate in Liberec, his name is listed on the new memorial.
