František Pajer (48)

Member of the non-uniformed police of the Police Directorate in Brno na Moravě, born 11 November 1894. During his service at the State Police Exposition in Libavé near Moravské Beroun, he received information about the organisation and plans of the Sudeten German Party, which hated him very much and promised him revenge. The Nazis from the town of Libavá did not forget about him and at their insistence he was arrested in Brno on 8 January 1941. He went through the Sachsenhausen and Oranienburg concentration camps. He died on 5.5.1943 in Neuengamme near Hamburg. He has a cenotaph in Rataj nad Sázavou. He received the Czechoslovak War Cross 1939 in memoriam.
