THE STORY
Circumstances
Employee of the Ministry of the Interior in Prague, born 1 December 1892, retired for participation in the Russian Legions. He was arrested by the Gestapo on 8 August 1940 for helping Czechoslovak military aviators to escape abroad. On 4 August 1942 he was sentenced to death by the People\'s Court for aiding the enemy and preparation for treason (M. Bondy\'s resistance group) and was executed in Berlin-Plötzensee on 3 April 1943 by guillotine.
