THE STORY
Circumstances
Gendarmerie officer in Bohemia, born 13 February 1893, retired for participation in the Russian Legions. Mayor of the Sokol in Žichovice. He was arrested by the Gestapo on 6 November 1941, although he was acquitted of the charges, the Gestapo in Klatovy nevertheless sent him to the Auschwitz concentration camp where he died on 18 March 1943. He received the Czechoslovak War Cross 1939 in memoriam.
